It wouldn't surprise me if the intersection of pool contributors and ipv6 early adopters is quite high... would be nice to get some stats. Assuming the pool database has dns names in it somewhere it shouldn't be that hard for someone with access to loop through it and do an aaaa lookup on them all. Personally I think it's a self solving problem - just as there are comparatively few ipv6 timeservers there are few clients requesting them at the moment. As ipv6 usage grows more servers come online, so it should never get to the point that ipv6.pool.ntp.org gets flooded. The nightmare scenario is the turkish ISP decides to upgrade all their users next week...
