I gather one can buy or build devices that will let a computer pick up
the WWVB time signal if you are in its coverage region and if local
interference does not, erm, interfere with your reception.

I don't know how difficult to build or expensive to buy such systems
are. I also don't know how their accuracy and precision compare with
that of a GPS timing receiver.
