Hi all, This is my first post, so please bare with me.
I am using Philip M. White's great PPS clock solution with Fedora 9. The issue I am having is that I need to have the GPS devices connect to a Serial to Ethernet adapter and communicate with the Linix host using a virtual serial driver. While I have no problem getting the GPS TX data stream. the SHMPPS driver does not see the PPS signal on the DSR or CRS pin and concquently does not work. Has anyone used this solution for PPS NTP timing with a Ethernet to Serial converter?
