Are You able to use Double Bass on Your PC? If so, could You, please,
copy / paste
Your timidity.cfg, freepats.cfg and tell me what are the other important
settings/parameters?

1.2. I changed my "/etc/timidity/timidity.cfg" - it has two uncommented
lines now.

1.3. I changed my "/etc/timidity/freepats.cfg" - I added line 43,
following Your advice:
