I have successfully installed the setup : This link <https://www.photobox.co.uk/my/photo/full?photo_id=9706200377> have the image of the setup successfully installed. To run the gateware I think I need hardware. Regarding Hardware : Can I run gateware using Spartan 3E FPGA board ? I have access only to that board right now. *Regarding Proxy issues while installing the setup :* 1. I made a PR <https://github.com/timvideos/HDMI2USB-litex-firmware/pull/315> that resolves the first issue of cloning edid-decode successfully under proxy. 2. There are couple more problems which I will Pull once the above PR gets merged. *Regarding JPEG Encoder :* *My Progress :* 1. I have gone through the JPEG Encoder of opencores <https://opencores.org/project,mkjpeg>. 2. I started implementing a Software Prototype for the JPEG Encoder. (I think this is very necessary for better understanding). 3. Successfully installed the setup. *My Thoughts on the Project :*1. As a minor modification we can replace the FSM with a *Ready-Valid Handshake Protocol. *(Streaming Verion of JPEG Encoder) 2. I think we will be using LM32 CPU for generating Headers for images. (Correct me if Iam wrong please). *My Queries :*1. Are we using Fixed Quantisation and Huffman Tables ? 2. Some help will be appreciated on how to implement ready valid flow. *To Do :*1. I need to start learning Migen and using it. Right now I will focus on writing a better Proposal. *My Reason to Pick the Project :* I have been working in Image Processing Domain in my Institute and as a part of which I have detailed knowledge on Quantizer and Huffman Encoder.
