Hello, Does anyone know how I can invoice for part of an order?
For example, a customer orders two items, and an order is created with both. One is fullfilled immediately, the other is backordered (or required later). I need to invoice for item 1, but then subsequently invoice item 2. If I create an invoice from the sales order, I can delete the outstanding item, but there doesn't seem to be a way to invoice for the second item later. (in this instances, the "items" are services - the customer orders 6 hours of work, three are complete and need invoicing, the remaining three are to be scheduled and invoiced later). Any ideas?
