The mechanics of installing modules is fairly trivial. The effects can be far
reaching depending on the precise contents of the module.

* Find the module you want in Uninstalled modules, say
* Either double-click it., or click the Other View button
* Press the 'Install' button
* Go back to the main menu then Administration -> Modules Management
double-click Apply Upgrades

I haven't tried this myself yet, but... On a copy of your database (for
practice) you could just try to install the new module 'over the top' of your
current accounts and then delete the (old) accounts and views that you're not
using. Finally link the accounts that you are using to the structure of the au
chart. (Somebody else who's done this recently may comment here.)

* Financial Management -> Configuration -> General Accounts -> Account
Definition
* Select an account and double click or click 'Other View'
* Either press 'Delete' (if the account is unused) or, to keep the account but
disable it, uncheck 'active'

There are 7 defaults, e.g.
* property_account_receivable
* property_account_payableetc.

I hope this helps.
