The checkbox 'Load demonstration data' on the very first 'Create a new
database' dialog controls all that. If it is checked when you create the
database then any module that has demo data specified will be loaded with that
data when you specify the module.
When you produce reports you'll get that demo data, depending on how you query
and filter.
