Hello, I am examining Tiny ERP's CRM and HR functions. This is for a service company which has to be able to categorize their partners, and to keep profiles of their candidates or employees. For the first one is perfect the arborescent configuration of categories. For the latter I found a module hr_skill, which offers at first sight the same configurability.
Now what I'm interested in, is to be able to search a combination of categories, for example partners who are in financial business (category), and running Free Software in general (category), and have an IT helpdesk (cateogory). The same is to be searched in the candidates/employees' profiles. I know there's a possibility to search on one category by default, or to open a list from the category tree, which will contain also the subcategories' entries. Is there a possibility to search the recorded skill database to be able to find a profile which corresponds to a demand? I didn't figure out quite exactly how integrates the hr_skill module in the human ressources. I see its entries only in the Configuration menu. Could you give me some advice or pointers, I would appreciate very much.
