Hello everybody,
I'm looking into Tinyerp.
I'm running my one woman business. A wholesale and retail shop.
Currently, i'm using OpenOffice.org for invoicing, stock management, ... .
I use sugarCRM community edition for CRM, and joomla/virtuemart for ecommerce.
I see that TinyErp can be linked to Sugar and Virtuemart, so i gues that Tiny
is the missing link :)

I have been playing with Tiny and everything is going fine so far.
However, i have some problems understanding the product form, and the way the
price lists work.

When i look at the products list, i see 3 columns:
Customer price
List price
Cost price
In the product form, i can find the fields for cost price and list price, but
where do i enter the customer price? In Tiny, what is the difference between
those 3 prices?

In my company setup, i receive price lists from my manufacturers.
Product A: wholesale price = 2.15€ - retail price = 5.25€
Product B: wholesale price = 7.15€ - retail price = 15.35€

If a customer is a retailer, he should pay the wholesale price.
If a customer is a “end customer”, he should pay the retail price.

When i look at the pricelists functionality in TinyErp, i'm lost.
I don't have any rules for calculating these prices. I just get them from my
supplier.
When you sold something to a retailer, the price is 2,15€, when you sold
something to a end customer, the price is 5,25€
So, how do i enter these prices and don't have to pay attention to margins and
other formulas?
I have been reading the manual on pricelists, but that still covers all those
margins and formulas, but i don't have any need for this. Just a way to enter
the prices i receive from my supplier, and depending on what customer, the
correct price should be applied.

Thanks for any help on this, i'm really looking forward to start using TinyErp
in my production environment.

Greetings, and have a nice day!
