Maybe, there is a problem in your .terprc file on your windows client
machine. (See Docs&settings/accountname)
At the end of the .terprc the db= must have a value when you will open an
existing database. If not, you can first try to make a new db when you start
the Tiny client.
I hope this helps

Onderwerp: Re: [Tinyerp-users] client will not connect

I found SimpleXMLRPCServer.py in
http://svn.python.org/view/*checkout*/python/tags/r244/Lib/SimpleXMLRPCServe
r.py?rev=52384
and I copied it into /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/tinyerp-server. Now
Windows client lets me connect but immediately dies.
File "tinyerp-client.exe.log" is created on Windows with the following
content:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "tinyerp-client.py", line 129, in <module>
  File "modules\gui\main.pyo", line 686, in sig_login
  File "modules\gui\main.pyo", line 771, in sig_win_menu
  File "modules\gui\main.pyo", line 788, in sig_win_new
KeyError: 'menu_id'
