Hello everybody,
TinyERP version 4.2 allows users to update modules by themselves. You so noticed that, from the administrator's standpoint this is a new concern related to save/restore actions. Restoring a database now implies to restore also the software context, in particular when you consider the reasons for restoring from a backup. The solution I chose on my servers is to save standard+specific code along with data, so I can restore everything consistently. I therefore published a new version of tiny_scripts for advanced management on debian and ubuntu, adding the --save-all option. I updated tinyforge project and as usual, the reference is on http://tinyerp.sisalp.net For those of you who don't know about these scripts, they manage farms of tinyerp servers and automate daily administration. They control automatically tinyerp.sisalp.net on-line demo for example. They are not required to manage simple solutions. Have a nice week-end ------------------------ Dominique www.SISalp.fr, infogérance de serveurs tinyerp sur www.bdll.fr _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
