My team at FS3 is working on a patch to encrypt passwords in the TinyERP database using the same crypt-md5 routine standard on most GNU/Linux and other Unix systems today. I don't know how successful we'll be, but if we're successful we expect to have a patch against 4.2.2 out within the week ending 23 Feb 2008. We will of course share this patch with the rest of the community and hope that Tiny will incorporate it for release with 4.2.3 and onwards.
