Hi,

I have a client company which has 25 different operations and a central unit
that manages central functions like HR, Finance, big procurement etc.., . Each
of the operations is effectively a different company for accounting purposes.

Of course, TinyERP is a very good candidate solution to put into the central
function.

The central unit bills the operations each month based on the operations'
headcount. One unusual problem I have is that many of their staff work over
several of the operations(i.e they will work 20% on 1 operation, 50% on another
and 30% on another, then the next month they will work 75% on one operation and
25% on another and so on).

So I have a couple of questions about the best way to cover this through
TinyERP.

1. Is it best to set up the operations as accounts or projects or multicompany
or as a new class/module entirely. Then should the accounts be analytical
accounts.
2. Should I extend the HR code to cover the employee/company split.

Any thoughts/ideas gratefully received.
