Does anyone use electronic components, for example, resistors, capacitors, IC's and if so, what naming conventions do you use in the product form?
For example. Do you describe the resistor properties and use that description as the name? Or do you just put in resistor for the name, and describe it in the description field? There are so many different resistors. In a bom it would be kind of weird to have just the name "Resistor" on a bom line item. I know there is a product_electronic module, but how would one use that in conjuction with a bom? Thanks in advance for any feedback on this.
