I've been hired to help pick & deploy an open source erp for a manufacturing
company (that only cares about the manufacturing part & takes the other parts
of the software as a bonus) , i'm a programmer & knew nothing of erp so i've
been picked mostly to help deploy it and to choose something that looks stable.

I settled on openerp after looking at alternatives but there seems to be no way
for workers to enter start/end time of their manufacturing steps for control
wich is a deal breaker , am i just not looking in the right place or is there
no such feature? Planned times is great but i need control of real times since
this is the main reason the boss wants software (at least as important to him
as the planning part).

In case there are no such options is one being worked on? Or even a paying
module? Any help appreciated.

In any case thanks for the non-painfull to install , great ui & intuitive free
software you provide!
