I've just downloaded server 4.2 from launchpad and there have been some new developments in 4.2, which is confusing. For example, when you create a new database you no longer start the initiation wizard to define elements of the main company. That's different! And when you look at the available modules in a new database you see only 'base' and have to load in all of the additional modules from the predefined http://www.tinyerp.org/download/modules/. So you need to make sure that the addons path (or somewhere - I haven't quite worked out where yet in this version) is writable by the server user, which is not done in the installation because you don't necessarily know the server user at installation time. But because you have also enabled version checking in launchpad 4.2 (new functionality!) it doesn't appear to load core modules like purchase and sale any more (because they're now labelled as 4.3, I think), which is quite a change. So, based on what I see today, I can't agree with your statement at all! I know that 'only bug fixes' is what you intend, but that's not what is happening. (I'd like to be proved wrong here, please!) ------------------------ Regards, Geoff Seath Solutions Ltd (http://www.seathsolutions.com) _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
