Thanks for your post Pedro. I didn't expect to have it working in a weekend,
but I thought I'd be further ahead than "becoming sort of familiar" after
nearly a whole week of playing -- I was getting a bit despondent actually!

I expected my task with open/tinyerp to take months (and I have been given
those months). I'd been thinking of this for a long time on and off and thought
I had a plan, so last Monday I jumped right in and started to override a couple
of classes -- only to discover I'd just re-invented the same thing! Next, I
went to tweak another and realized I couldn't really use any of it at all! Two
opposite cases and outcomes from what I thought I was dealing with :-)

I have so many things I want to implement for my client it seems I just can't
wait to write them. But http://www.ohloh.net/projects/4314/analyses/latest says
there were around 126k lines of python and 41k lines of xml in tinyerp, so I
don't know what I was thinking!

I didn't actually 'jump' in on Monday -- I was pushed. My biggest customer told
me "Thou shalt!", so now I'm 'shalting' :-) I've been pressing them to get an
erp for over a year already, so now I have to deliver.

It will be a lot of work, but it will be fun. The only time I'm not thinking of
it is when I'm asleep.

Good to read of the success of you other guys too. I just need to be more
patient with myself here for a bit I think.
