Hi Fabian, I think it would be more helpful if you developed a working webDAV protocol connector - at least a client implementation, optional a server. Most groupware products support this protocol. AFAIK Funambol and other products like it will be able to interface with that as well.
It can then be left to the implementer to choose between different client and server products, ranging from Outlook Express via Oracle's Collaboration Suite to SaaS solutions as Google Calendar and the like, without being stitched to one specific product. There's no 'one size fits all' solution here. Bottom line: standardize on protocols, not on products. Just my 2c, -- Pieter J.
