Hi, I suppose you want to install terp on semi private hosting. If so, this is problematic, because by definition every setup needs particular customization, fine tuning and running several setups on the same installation is not safe. Also imagine situation when someone else will try to install latest version of python.
To overcome this we use VPS (virtual private servers) extensively - mainly XEN setups, but VMware will do as well. This is safer as you have control over everything on the OS setup. This approach is safe for production environment, though possibly requires more attention per system. Hope I answered your 1. question, sraps -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=34337#34337 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
