Of course "eTiny" is a server layer with no need to be installed on the client 
side (also you could do it too). It's sometimes called "web-client" which can 
be mistaking, this is just because that layer already behaves like a client of 
the openerp-server just like the GTK native client. But the web-client or 
eTiny, then act as a proxy server talking HTTP and HTML to the client web 
browsers accross the network. Thus, eTiny is preferably installed on the same 
hardware as openerp-server, but it can be different eventually.
