If this is true it's a serious design flaw. It's not practical at all to wait 18 seconds every time a user needs to access the products menu. My database and app server has 4 Opteron cores and 8GB of RAM, with only four current users. It's not a hardware bottleneck here.

I'm using quality certified modules too with the exception of product_electronic which I've already eliminated from being the problem.

Hi.

I experience same problem. I think this is caused by virtual and real stock
values. These values are calculated at runtime from stock locations.

Cheers.

I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem I do with stock locations.
Simply put, the more internal stock locations I have the slower it takes for
products to be listed when I click on Products in the Products menu.
With approx 5700 products and 1500 stock locations it takes 18 seconds to load
the products screen. The products screen is set to the default of show only 80
at a time.
