Dear all, (OpenERP 5.0.1, GTK Client)
Please help a newbie with a currency problem. The system seams to be working with EUR in the background and I don't know how to change it. I have set the currency for the company in Administration>Users>Company's>Structure>Company to CHF. I enter cost price for a product. (Let's say 1.--) I define the pricelists as CHF based on cost price. (Let's say 100% margin on cost price) I make a sales order with the this CHF-pricelist. Problem: The field "Unit Price" in the sales order line should show 2.-- but shows 3.20 which is CHF times the CHF/EUR Exchange Rate of 1.60 which is defined in Financial Management>Configuration>Currencies. So the system assumes that the cost prices I have entered are in EUR and hence must be translates into CHF in the sales order line. I can't figure out how I can tell the system that the cost prices are in CHF and not in EUR. Where is the main currency default? I though it was in Administration>Users>Company's>Structure>Company. I'm I wrong??? Please help!
