Hi all, Looking through the forum I have seen a few posts on magento and openerp connection using the smile module, but none seem to have my precise problem.
I am using openerp 5 and magento 1.3.2.1 (I tried 1.3.2.2 but it gave errors when I tried to sync the products) I installed the latest version of the smile module (0.9.9) and managed to connect connect openerp to magento. I then hit "synchronize products and stock" which connected sucessfully. I then hit "synchronize categories" but without success. I did not get an error message but the window which opens to tell you how many categories are exported showed 0 (I have two categories in my openerp db) I then switched over to magento to find that it had imported a list of products but when I look under categories I only have "Default Category(0)". So, it would seem that even though my products have been imported, the categories have not.
