Searched high and low on the forum, but I could not find a way to set the default weights in openerp to grams. Then decided it was probably easier to let openerp products in kg and do the conversion in the sync script.
I have a modified version available. It now allows you to set the weight in OpenERP in KG (for example 1.5) and when the product is synced with OSC the weight in OSC is in gram (1500) in this case. I need gram in OSC since most shipping cost calculators work with gram in stead of kilo. I'm not sure if this is a valid change for the generic branch?
