@kaag, Hopefully I take time to answer in details, but the answer is yes to all your points. The less evident point is teh migration. Tiny is currently developping it's own ETL (as addon modules) but it's not finished yet and it's not as trivial to use than Talend for instance. On the other hand you could use an ETL like Talend to pull out the data from Sage (is their a connector for Sage?) and then custom code to push it into openERP or as OpenERP compatible CSV/XML. There is also a Kettle OpenERP project. Should run now, but I hope to give details later on.
