there is no way...
I don't kow what I'm doing wrong but I can't start koo client on Ubuntu 9.10
Here you are the steps I went on.
1. Download the KDE package Rc2 release for ubuntu
2. Unzip on openobject-client-kde
3. sudo ./setup.py install
It seems install goes right because there is no errors shown.
4. Tried to start koo client
4.1 socra...@ubuntu:~/openobject-client-kde$ python ./koo.py
File "./koo.py", line 2
cd /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/Koo
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
4.2 socra...@ubuntu:~$ export PYTHONPATH=.
socra...@ubuntu:~$ python Koo/koo.py
python: can't open file 'Koo/koo.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
4.3 socra...@ubuntu:~/openobject-client-kde$ export PYTHONPATH=.
socra...@ubuntu:~/openobject-client-kde$ python Koo/koo.py

4.4 i realized after installing a Koo icon for wine is created on desktop, so I
tried to execute but it makes nothing at all. Nor error not program is
launched.
I also tried to read install instructions on doc directory but the install page
html is not found.
So... I don't know how to go on.
Albert please... if you have got any time, it would be really usefull to have a
install instructions file for people like me (newbie in ubuntu) step by step,
same way you were teaching a five years old child :)
Thank you very much!!!
Ana
