Hallo to everybody, I' new to openErp and I'm following this pdf book to learn the basics: Open ERP, a modern approach to integrated business management Release 1.0
I'm now blocked at page 74 (developing real case). I'm trying to setup the default properties: 1) press new 2) write property_account_payable in the name fiels 3) click search near company (fill the company name) 4) use search button to look for open the search page I searched for "account" in the "name" then "Filter" in the resulting list the only "account payable" thing is a record like the following one: object ID = partner, name = property_account_payable, Field label = Account Payble I selected it. Now Pressing search near the value fileds does not open any window, writing the "(account.account) AP Payable" shown on the book simply disappear after saving. >From my reading I understood that the default_properties is very important so >I'm asking you help to solve this issue.
