Thanks for that link. I followed the instructions to get it working on python
2.5 but I experienced exactly the same error. I don't think this is getting as
far as the 2.6 deprecated functions part before the failure.

I tried creating the symlink for that SQL file and it got past that bit but now
I'm getting a whole list of CRITICAL errors on top of a whole list of different
ERROR errors.

I could be here for weeks trying to get through these errors on Ubuntu. I think
it's probably safe to say that the version that comes with Ubuntu
(apt-get/KPackageKit/etc) does not work with Ubuntu :-)

The documentation could do with updating a bit, it still says "You need to
install python (at least version 2.4)." which mentions nothing about 2.6.

The link that you gave hinted that python 2.6 might be supported from 5.0.2. Is
this correct? Should the latest stable version (5.0.3) be OK with python 2.6?

Has anybody got the latest version (or any version of 5.0.x) working on
OpenSuse 10.x? I might give it another try. Does anybody know which OpenSuse
packages contain the required libraries (that's where I gave up last time):

psycopg2
reportlab
pychart
pydot
mxdatetime
xml, lxml and libxslt1
tz
PIL
vobject

(I'm assuming the documentation is still correct and these are still needed....)
