@kgenot This is dependent on every particular company, as there may be numerous practices to deal with this.
One company would prefer to Delegate task to some other employee in the same category, or postpone until one returns, or .... There is no universal approach to the problem. This could be done by module which defines some policies for tasks/projects? Probably this would be interesting development, but I am sure, I have not seen module for this.
