Although the RPC protocol was not designed to accomodate asynchronous calls, the KDE client (koo) already has facilities for such feedback to the client. See the 'subscription' koo module.
Note that you may find a couple of bugs in the underlying protocols, NaN suggests that we use the 'pyro' connection if we want asynchronous calls.
