Hi Thanks for all your suggestions I tried a few out but at the end of the day it turned out that I had a dodgy download of the screencast. I have now be able to capture the screens using Snagit and when i have filtered it out to a managagable number of screen captures I will zip them up and post them somewhere so anyone can get them. It may take a few more days though.
