Hello list. I am trying to change the filed "name" from project.task.work from type "CHAR" (limited to 128 characters) to type "TEXT".
So i opended admin->objects in openerp and changed the type of the field ... no effect?!? I did find out that the fieldtype was not changed in the postgres database also so i changed the type to TEXT there too ... but still NO EFFECT [Shocked] After that i checked the view project.task.form and added the widget "text" to the field project.task.work->"name" ... but still NO EFFECT!!! LOOSING MY MIND! So what is the right way to change a field in openerp. 128 characters is not sufficient for us. I would need a full text field! Is this hardcoded somewhere or am i just plain stupid and missed an obvious step?!? PLEASE HELP!
