My initial thoughts: 1 - Search Views
Ok, these changes were really needed. 2 - Layout So, in conclusion, the current vertical menu will be changed to a horizontal tab-type one, but I've got a question, each view of the sub-menu (example tasks of menu project --> sub-menu project management) will be opened in the same new vertical menu of the modules? I think it's something not shown in the attached files. As I see, this new horizontal menu will integrate very well the current dashboards each time we click a module, that's something I really like. I see this feature as a double edged-sword, I like the "Suite of Integrated Management Applications" concept but I think it's something that was yet achieved with the current layout. 3 - Menus (ods file) Where have the CRM menu gone? If see it now integrated in sales... that's something I don't really like, I'd rather to leave it as it's now. There are small clients that are not really using these features. Products are now inside warehouse? Why? HR, with the help of Jordi Esteve, we've developed a payroll module, initially for the spanish market, but I think it can be used for the rest of the countries. You can find it here: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openerp-spain-team/openerp-spain/5.0/files/head%3A/l10n_es_extras/l10n_ES_hr_nominas/ These are my comments for now...
