Can someone help me figure out why the ftp server isn't running. I can't connect, and I see nothing in the logs about the FTP server starting up. How is this started? I was able to start the ftpserver.py manually, but its not connected to the authentication or underlying file system it seems. Additionally I'm pretty sure its supposed to be ran by the openerp-server process.
Also I noticed if you install document management while you don't have the filestore directory created (In my case, /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/openerp-server/filestore ) the Document Management -> Document Configuration -> Storage Media option doesn't appear. I learned this the hard way after 3+ hours of debugging.
