@juwah what revision of addons/server and fleet_maintenance are you running? I suggest to use the last revisions of 5.0 branches. However, that's true our customer using it is still on a 5.0.3 + backports (migrating to every new release was too risky considering the past lack of stability and too much work) so eventually something has been broken since. Would be interesting if you could help determine that. In any case, Anevia uses stock management heavily, so it's not supposed to blow out that way.
Also, we are at the process of extracting the RMA module from fleet_maintenance and distributing it as a generic RMA module (also used in two other projects). The module is almost extracted here: https://code.launchpad.net/~akretion-team/+junk/stock_rma Actually we are 90% done with the generic RMA module (in some aspects like layout and search filter it's already better). Will now just build a thin third module called something like fleet_rma that will bring the last extra miles to extend stock_rma and be totally iso-functionnal with the current RMA feature of fleet_maintenance). We tried to make our best to have that RMA module compatible with the mrp_repair by Tiny, but so far unfortunately, I think compat with mrp_repair will be limited unless Tiny is ready to refactors their module a bit too in say 5.2; hopefully we find time to talk about it soon. The whole refactoring + migration of our customer to 5.0.7 is expected before the end of February, not our fault 5.0.7 was delayed a lot... Also, thanks to CampToCamp, we now have a decent framework to bundle real functionnal tests with our modules: https://launchpad.net/oerpsenario Hopefully in the future we will use them more to package non regression tests along with the modules, though it's always hard to have your customer paying for them (even if I'm pretty sure it's benefit from them too in the long run). ------------------------ Raphaël Valyi CEO and OpenERP consultant at http://www.akretion.com -------------------- m2f -------------------- -- http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=50120#50120 -------------------- m2f --------------------
