Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the Vehicle Charger not working in their vehicle. I drive a '99 Mazda Protege and for some reason the charger doesn't work (and yes, the cigarette lighter works so I know it has power), but it works fine in every other car I've tested it. I'm hoping someone may know of a fix for this as getting a new car is not an option for me right now, and I'm too scared of frying my Pre to experiment with MacGyver-type solutions.
If your car is incompatible with the Pre's Vehicle Charger, please post the make, model, and year of your vehicle in this thread. At the very least, this post can help others by a) not investing in the charger if their vehicle is among those listed here, and b) perhaps catch the attention of Palm engineers and help them revise the product design so that it works in more vehicles.
