Hello, New to OpenERP, i try to import products.
first created categories, then I created a new product from scratch in open ERP. to make sur of compatiblity with the CSV file i want to import, i have exported the created product and selected the : "Import / export" compatible option... with the fields : categ_id default_code description_purchase description_sale procure_method cost_method supply_method name standard_price list_price mes_type type uom_po_id uom_id then i tried to create just one new product in this csv file. Even when exporting a csv file from OpenERP with "categ_id" such as : "Materiel / Electrique"... it is then impossible to re-import product (using the same csv file) Error is : Line 1 : relation not found: Materiel / Electrique on "prodcut.category. In fact it seems to work if i change the "categ_id" to a parent category : instead of "Matériel / Electrique" i have to change it to "Materiel" Why is that ? And how coud i import my product with their full category such as : Materiel / XXXX / YYYY ? Best regards.
