why some people have problems with python 2.6 (see on google) , and on launchpad they correct a lot of bugs with it, and try to adapt the code for next version, even if the code is created for python 2.5 ? and if you followed doc why have you some problems even with an automatic script, there is a reason .... no reference to python 2.6 with the link you give for use of python 2.6 .... and if you don't understand you must have /etc/openerp/server.conf, retry to zero following exactly documentation without symbolic link, python 2.6 ... you are newb but you try to do an install without follow what you must do, even if you say the contrary. if you don't believe and follow this (not just me) who try to help you and give informations, do it alone.
