Hello Friend. When you have a tool like OpenERP based on web-services you need to exploid this option until the last chance ;-)
The better way to communicate with OpenERP is through this option, ¿¿Why?? it respect the internal workflow, and if your modules are developed considered this options (almost all officials and better modules on commiters) only when it will be impossible, you must use direct connection to DB. BTW, I don't know what is the final objective of your development, the last affirmation can change a little bit. About the speed of conection, obviouslly always will be faster directly to DB than throught web-services ;-), but it is a cost that you need to study in depth. 2010/6/23 <[email protected]> > Hi Nhomar > > Thanks for responding. > > I'm not so much concerned about how to do it - as you say, it is quite well > documented and I wouldn't anticipate too much difficulty. > > My question is whether this is the right way to do it, taking likely > performance under load into account? > > > > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > -- > http://www.openobject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=57949#57949 > > -------------------- m2f -------------------- > > > _______________________________________________ > Tinyerp-users mailing list > http://tiny.be/mailman2/listinfo/tinyerp-users > -- Saludos Cordiales Nhomar G.
