I have changed my invoice report template located at addons/account/report/invoice.rml to use a pageSize of "(612,792)".
I have also updated the Company Header/Footer. The page looks fine when opened in a PDF viewer or graphics file. The Gimp opens it as an 8.5 x 11.0 in. document. However, when I try to print from any PDF viewer, it still prints as an A4 document. I also tried printing to a file ( PDF ), to see what the result was. The result from any print operation is a document with 595 x 842 points, which is the A4 size. Where else can I change this configuration? In my invoice.rml file, I changed <template pageSize="(595.0,842.0)" to <template pageSize="(612.0,792.0)" . I've grep'd the openerp-server directories for strings such as mediaBox, 595, pageSize, etc..., but I cannot find how to fix this. For now, the only way I can get the PDF to print correctly, is to open it in a graphics program, such as The Gimp or Inkscape, and then print it.
