I was using binutils-2.13 though, it worked for me, but my nesc version is just
1.1.2b. Here is my rpm versions:

rpms:
        /bin/rpm
        make-3.80tinyos-1
        tinyos-tools-1.1.0-1
        avarice-2.0.20030825cvs-1
        avr-binutils-2.13.2.1-1
        avr-gcc-3.3tinyos-1
        tinyos-1.1.14Jul2005cvs-1
        avr-insight-pre6.0cvs.tinyos-1.3
        avr-libc-20030512cvs-1
        nesc-1.1.2b-1

nesc:
        /usr/local/bin/ncc
        Version: ncc: 1.1.2b

Hope it helps,
-Ping

It looks like you have two copies of the binutils, and ncc is calling the
wrong one (2.13, rather than 2.15tinyos).
