I was just wondering about this and hoping that something nice had already been done, just like with the internally received TOS messages. But as far as I can tell, you will have to reserve a slot in your message structures (the Mote to Host messages anyway) and modify the radio receive portion of TOSBase to stick the rssi value into that slot...thus making 'Base app specific.
Modifying the UART side to add the ack & rssi to the end of the message as is done in the radio send/receive will probably lead to some mystery code rathole... Maybe there's a better way? MS ian wang wrote:
