We are building a sensor network that will have up to 100 TmoteSky's
in a field communicating to a gateway (tmote to Internet connection point).
Trying to decide which protocols to use for tmote to gateway, and
gateway to tmote. Tmote to gateway is reporting readings every 5 to
15 minutes from each tmote, gateway to tmote will be commands only
in the form of 10 bytes or less on a very intermittent basis, less than
once
per day.
We will be using SP in either normal or low power mode from Boomerang.
Collection Protocol considered: Multi hop
Dissemination Protocols considered: DRIP, BCAST
What is best for TinyOS 1.x and TinyOS 2.x?
Are any other protocols better?
