Dear Virginia, I am new to tinyOS, while I also work on a problem alike yours. Could you mind give me some suggestion about my problem? I am sorry about that I am not giving you idea but asking question. But it would be very appreciated if you can help me a bit, because I have post my question for many times, but nobody give me any replies :-(. So could you help me a bit? I don't know how to pass messages to PC from TOSSIM. How do you fix that? Thanks for your time. Best regards, Kenneth On 4/8/07, virginia estellers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi everybody, I'm working with tinyos-1.x using the MIG tool to parse the messages I receive from micaz motes, but I have some problem with the floats. Actually, I'm now working with the TOSSIM simulating tools, using the serial forwarder with the option tossim-radio, but I guess it's more a problem of floating point numbers than of platform, because all the integer values are received, parsed, and displayed with java...OK but when and it comes to floats the values I'm getting make no sense. I've found something on the mailing list about updating a message.java file but it doesn't work so I was wondering it could be a problem of translating data from TOSSIM to JAVA directly, or is the SerialForwarder already taking care of that? Can someone give me a clue of what's happening? Thanks, any idea will be much appreciated.
