Try Boomerang 2.0.4 (http://www.moteiv.com/software/) + latest AVR
components for MICAZ from the tinyos website.

It pretty much brings you up with a platform with TinyOS 1.x and 2  and with
telosb and micaz support as well . Note that you'd have to change the
environment variables as you switch between.

if you had to add the micaz directory you are probably using a way
old TOS1 version. 1.1.10 is the first one that really did a good
job of supporting micaz...
