Hi !

Though I have personally not tried switching over to tinyos-2.x, i have
nevertheless seen quite a few people struggling to do so around me. I must
say that the transition is far from smooth. People have had trouble
compiling their first apps like Blink on tinyos-2.x platform and that's
what's kept me from making the switch.

While executables for windows systems are available for tinyos-1.x that make
it effortless to install it, same is not the case with 2.x. In fact, it
becomes a mini-project to get 2.x up and running.

Well, to each their own. For time being I am going to stick to 1.x since I
have very little time to make things work for me. However, I would have
loved to get a reply to one of my technical queries than to the last crib
post.

Regards,
