Hi all. TinyOS has a lot lot ... of components. Actually i believe that TinyOS is develop for two types of microcontrollers (MSP430 and ATMega). The version 2 of TinyOS has 4 layers (you can read the TEPs). When we program normally only use components at the top layer. When we compiled an application depends of the platform is being used ones or other low level components.
Jennic is a microcontroller with the chip of radio in the same chip. To can use TinyOS we must develop a lot of new components in the lower layer. It is possible but it is a long way. I think a good point to start is first study a platform develop in TinyOS (the architecture of the microcontroller, the low level components and the instructions to program the microprocontroller. Later start to develop new components by the new microcontroller.
