I would like to upgrade from the Mica2Dot motes to zigbee for both interference and bandwidth purposes. I just noticed that X-Bow has come out with a new mote claiming to have better range and reduced power consumption? I have not used zigbee before and was wondering it TinyOS uses the true Zigbee-2006 stack and if there are modules supporting the IRIS mote?
