Hello Nisha.
You try to execute the command tos-install-jni in Cygwin. If you get ...done
all ok, in other case you try the following:
You verify that you can use java in Cygwin, Commands java, javac, java
-version. You must have the version of Java 1.5.x...
If when you try the command tos-install-jni you get some error about toscomm
library then you rename the toscomm.dll in C:/cygwin/lib/tinyos by
toscomm-32.dll and test again
You can read older messages with the same problem in
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]&q=tos-install-jni
I hope that help you.
A greeting,
Juan Antonio.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] Tiny OS2-x Lesson 5 error while running
Oscilloscopeapplication
Hello All,
I am doing lesson 5 of Tiny OS 2-x and getting following error
while running the given command.
$ ./run
getenv JNI library not found. Env.getenv will not work
(run the tos-install-jni tool, see man tos-install-jni for more details)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:9002 died - exiting (java.net.ConnectException: Connection
refused:
connect)
Please let me know how i can remove the above error.
I was getting it previously while doing lesson 4 TestSerial
command but it is resolved when i added
serial@(comport):telosb parameter.
Please let me know is ./run command requires some extra parameter like above?
Regards,
Nisha
